Bournemouth have extended Southampton striker David McGoldrick's loan stay at Dean Court until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old's initial loan deal was set to expire after next Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest, but the young forward will now also be available for the final two games of the league campaign.
McGoldrick has scored six goals in 11 games for the Cherries since arriving in February.
Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Darren Anderton has been ruled out of the next two games with a groin strain.
"We'll miss him an awful lot," manager Kevin Bond told the club's official website.
"He's been extremely influential for us and has been every time he's played. We have nobody better at keeping the ball."
