Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond has begun his reshaping of the Cherries squad by releasing experienced duo Steve Fletcher and Karl Broadhurst.
Youngsters Callum Hart, James Coutts and Conal Platt have also been told their contracts will not be renewed in the summer.
Fletcher, 35, and Broadhurst, 28, have made more than 800 combined appearances for the south coast club but have been told they are surplus to requirements.
Meanwhile, midfielder Marcus Browning has been told he is free to find a new club, but goalkeeper Neil Moss has agreed terms on a new one-year deal.
Earlier in the week, veteran winger Darren Anderton agreed terms on a new 12-month contract with the Cherries.
