Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond has still to decide whether to launch an appeal against Lee Bradbury's controversial sending off in Tuesday's home defeat to Leeds United.
Bradbury was dismissed in the 62nd minute of the Dean Court clash after seeming to catch Matt Heath with his elbow.
Bond told the Cherries' official website: "We've seen the referee's report and he says Bradders retaliated by using his elbow.
"Having seen the video I really don't see it that way. It was all one incident and two people making an attempt to win the ball.
"I'd have severe reservations of whether Lee's challenge was violent conduct so I think it was a desperately harsh decision.
"It's extremely difficult for the referee when given a split second, but sometimes they do get it wrong and I believe this was the case with Lee.
"There's a cost associated to appealing and we need to consider whether we think the FA will accept that the referee got it completely wrong. If they believe he got it slightly wrong then they possibly won't overturn it."
