Bournemouth midfielder Darren Anderton has revealed he is close to making a return after missing the last four games with injury problems.
The former England international has not featured since limping off in last month's 2-0 defeat by Yeovil Town.
However, after three weeks on the sidelines, the 35-year-old is hopeful of featuring against Millwall at the weekend.
"I came off against Yeovil as a precaution for my groin, but the next day my knee was sore and it didn't settle down," he told the club's official website.
"Then I picked up a chest infection, which wouldn't have been a problem but I hadn't played for three weeks."
Referring to a recent reserve team outing, he added: "It was fine. I've had no problems and am available Saturday and this will do me good for the weekend."
