Vaughan blow rocks Pilgrims

Boston United's bid to beat the drop has suffered a major blow with the news that Stephen Vaughan has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
Vaughan, who only arrived at York Street in the January transfer window, suffered ankle ligament damage in Saturday's home defeat by Hartlepool and won't play again this season.
"Stephen has been excellent in his short time with us," Pilgrims boss Steve Evans told the club's official website.
"He is a very good footballer and we need as many of them as possible.
"It's fair to say we missed him badly in the second half on Saturday and, after he came off, we weren't as fluent or strong in that area of the team.
"However, we need to dig deep and retain the spirit we've kept within the dressing room, despite us having to sell our best players all season and suffering the injury crisis we have. The boy is gutted and so am I."
