Boston United midfielder Stewart Talbot is growing increasingly frustrated by the ongoing financial problems at the club.
The Pilgrims players have no been paid for three months and Talbot is unsure whether the club will be able to take its place in the Conference next season, following this term's relegation.
"We're not just concerned about whether our wages are going to be met, we're worried whether the club is even going to survive - that's the biggest issue," Talbot told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"Nothing seems to be happening, but enough is enough, we want some answers.
"We want to know what's happening with the takeover and what plans they have for next season, both on and off the pitch.
"This whole situation is casting a cloud over the club. As players, at this time of year, you want to be able to enjoy yourself, but that's impossible at the moment."
Manager Steve Evans is also worried about the current problems at York Street, saying: "If the situation is not quickly resolved, we all have to worry about Boston United having a future.
"My players and staff are entitled to seek clarification about what's happening at the football club from those in charge, given that I cannot provide them with an answer to anything."
