Problems mount for Pilgrims

Boston United face an injury crisis ahead of Saturday's crucial bottom of the table clash with Bury.
Mark Albrighton(hamstring), Stewart Talbot (calf), Bob Davidson (Achilles), Francis Green (ankle), Richie Ryan (calf) and Brad Maylett (groin) have all sat out training this week, while Chris Holland and Simon Rusk picked up knocks during Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Brighton.
"Our injury situation was bad enough before Tuesday night, but to pick up more injuries is devastating and we could be left without any of the injured boys being fit for Saturday," manager Steve Evans told the club's official website.
"People think we are making excuses, but the simple fact is that our injury situation is the worst I have ever known at any level of football."
Meanwhile, Evans has slammed the organisers of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after the Pilgrims were forced to travel all the way to the south coast for their first round tie.
"In a supposed regional competition, it is unbelievable that we have to travel to Brighton on a Tuesday night," he added.
"I would ask the competition organisers how this is allowed to happen."
