Irate Woodcock slams Evans

Colin Woodcock has slammed Boston United's decision not to sack boss Steve Evans after opting to quit the League Two club's board.
After spending the last eight years as a director, Woodcock has decided to sever his ties with the Pilgrims because he disagrees with the decision to keep Evans at York Street.
Evans was handed a suspended 12-month jail sentence last week for tax fraud, but remains manager of the relegation-threatened team.
"It's been a tough decision to make as I've been a Boston fan for 40 years," Woodcock told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"But I didn't want to be associated with what's gone on because, if you stay, then people presume you're condoning it. But I had to go because I couldn't accept where the club was heading.
"If any Tom, Dick or Harry off the street had broken the law like Steve did in a top job, then they'd have been sacked.
"But, even regardless of the court case, on results alone he should have gone. Since the FA Cup game against Doncaster last December, the results have been appalling.
"If it had been Alex Ferguson or Jose Mourinho he'd have been sacked. But he's still at the helm and I can't support that stance, so I've resigned."
