Evans sorry for horror-show

Boston United manager Steve Evans has apologised to the club's fans for his side's abysmal first-half display in Saturday's 6-0 home drubbing by fellow strugglers Grimsby Town.
The Mariners had scored only one goal in their previous seven games - all of which had been lost - but were allowed to stroll to victory at York Street.
The Pilgrims trailed 4-0 at half-time and Evans told the club's official website: "For that performance in the first 45 minutes on Saturday I, on behalf of my players and staff, apologise to every Boston United supporter.
"You'd never believe that was the same back five defensive unit that were magnificent at Walsall last week. However, as I said prior to the match, we have two teams at Boston United.
"I'm the team manager and I therefore take the full responsibility. It disappoints me that I don't have the options that the likes of Alan Buckley has when he can make five changes to the team that lost so heavily at Torquay last week.
"We only have 14 available players, if you take away the kids, so mathematically it's impossible to do that but, make no mistake, if I had the option, I would.
"The players know what they delivered on Saturday was a disgrace, but as you'd expect, I'll stand in front of them as any manager should."
