Boston United boss Steve Evans is hoping to look to the future after his side fought back to draw 3-3 at home to Notts County and end a bad week on a high note.
Evans was handed a one-year suspended prison sentence on Friday for conspiring to cheat the public revenue, but has been backed to continue at the Pilgrims helm for the time being.
The Scot said after the draw with the Magpies: "It has been a difficult time for me personally. But I now want to draw a line under issues which I have had to live with for the past four years.
"Hopefully this draw can also signal a new and positive start for Boston United as well.
"I met the chairman and directors before the game and have been told I will be judged on results. And I accept that if these don't come up to scratch I will lose my job.
"But I've been assured extra investment is coming to the club and that funds will be available shortly for new players."
