Diamonds deal for Albrighton

The Boston United exodus continues after defender Mark Albrighton was allowed to sign a month-long loan deal with Conference strugglers Rushden & Diamonds.

Anthony Elding and Tim Ryan left York Street earlier this month as Pilgrims boss Steve Evans tried to cut the wage bill at the club.

The 30-year-old Albrighton joined Boston on a free transfer last summer and has made 14 appearances for the club.

The former Doncaster Rovers star recently returned from a loan spell with Darlington, where he made three appearances.
