Ziege keen to coach again

Christian Ziege has revealed he is hoping to continue his coaching career at a high-profile club.

Ziege spent a brief spell at the helm of Borussia Monchengladbach last year after agreeing to step in from his director of football role.

The 37-year-old left the club in December, but has admitted his appetite for top-level management has now been whetted.

"I know that I definitely want to be a manager and coach a team in the future," he revealed.

"Maybe in the Bundesliga or in another big competition like Spain, Italy or England.

"I really think I can stand such a challenge. The ten-day spell I had as interim manager at Borussia was the best period I enjoyed at the club.

"It was the spark which decided where my future will lie."
