Meeuwis heads to Germany

Borussia Monchengladbach have signed Marcel Meeuwis from Dutch side Roda JC.

The 28-year-old midfielder passed a medical at Borussia Park on Wednesday and has now put pen to paper on a three-year contract.

Meeuwis has made 104 appearances in the Dutch top-flight for Roda JC and previously Willem II.

He scored three goals in 33 Eredivisie appearances during the recently completed season.
