Gladbach make first moves

Borussia Monchengladbach have made their first moves of the close season after landing striker Raul Bobadilla and midfielder Thorben Marx.

Argentine frontman Bobadilla has joined the Bundesliga outfit on a four-year contract from Swiss side Grasshopper Zurich.

The 21-year-old South American has cost Gladbach a fee in the region of £3.5million.

Meanwhile, Marx has arrived at Borussia Park from relegated Arminia Bielefeld. The 28-year-old has joined on a free transfer and has put pen to paper on a two-year contract.
