Subotic tipped to stay put

Highly-rated Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic is unlikely to leave the German club in the January transfer window, according to the player's agent.

The 20-year-old is being linked with the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan, but agent Stephen Kelly expects Subotic to stay put until next summer.

He told Sport magazine: "Neven is always going to attract speculation because he is a top-class player.

"I think he would be interested in a top club, but which team, I don't know.

"It is doubtful he will move in January, but I am sure there will be a lot of speculation and rumours.

"There is absolutely nothing concrete at this moment in time, I can confirm that. I know England's top clubs are monitoring him, as are Italy's top clubs."
