Dortmund win Rangelov race

Bulgaria striker Dimitar Rangelov has opted to join Borussia Dortmund from Energie Cottbus.

The 26-year-old forward has agreed a four-year contract at the Westfalenstadion after deciding to leave the relegated Bundesliga outfit.

Rangelov claimed he turned down the advances of several other clubs from across Europe to join Dortmund.

He said: "I had offers from Hertha Berlin, Hamburg, Bochum and from several English clubs.

"I know I turned down a chance to play in the Europa League next season but I have no regrets.

"My personal wish was to join Dortmund and I think I took the best decision."
