Borussia Dortmund have had a bid for Melbourne Victory goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak turned down, although it is thought talks are still ongoing. The Bundesliga outfit lodged a bid for the Australia Under-21 star, but the A-League club rejected their advances. Melbourne Victory Football Operations Manager Gary Cole said: "We recently received an offer for Mitchell Langerak from Borussia Dortmund, which has been formally rejected. "As we have always done, we are not prepared to discuss specifics or innuendo associated with any contracts or possible transfers. "At this point Melbourne Victory will make no further comment on the matter."
