Dortmund issue fan warning

Borussia Dortmund have urged their supporters to show respect when they go head-to-head with Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Dormund fans were threatened with legal action after displaying offensive banners concerning Hoffe owner Dietmar Hopp when the sides met back in September.

Hopp was outraged when his image was used on banners which resembled a shooting target.

"I would like to emphasise that Mr Hopp is a serious, honourable gentleman," said Dortmund's general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke.

"Freedom of opinion reaches its limits when it turns to personal insults or is defamatory."
