Borussia Dortmund fought back from a goal behind to secure a 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday evening.
Benjamin Kohler gave the home side the lead straight after the restart in the Commerzbank Arena, but Dortmund drew level five minutes later through Poland midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski.
Dortmund coach Thomas Doll told his club's official website: "It was important that we scored and showed a reaction.
"In the first half we were not up to speed, but afterwards we pressed well. It was important that we did not let them in on the counter."
Frankfurt boss Friedhelm Funkel added: "We showed a good appetite for the fight and only lapsed once. Only the luck needed to win is missing at the moment."
