Doll steps down at Dortmund

Thomas Doll has stood down as coach of Borussia Dortmund following a disappointing Bundesliga campaign.
The 42-year-old signed a contract until June 2008 when he took over at the Westfalenstadion 18 months ago.
But, after leading Dortmund to a 13th placed finish in the Bundesliga this season - their lowest league position in over a decade - the former Germany international has now relinquished his position.
Doll did secure European qualification via the UEFA Cup after leading Dortmund to the German Cup final, where they lost to Bayern Munich last month.
"Thomas Doll secured our safety in the Bundesliga comfortably last year and, through reaching the German Cup Final, he has enabled the club to play in the UEFA Cup next season and it is this which remains from his work," read a club statement.
Jurgen Klopp is the frontrunner to replace Doll after leaving his post with second division side Mainz at the weekend.
