O'Loughlin misses out for Wood

Boreham Wood manager Ian Allinson will be without the suspended Charlie O'Loughlin for Brentford's visit to Meadow Park in the first round of the FA Cup.

The 23-year-old defender will serve the second of a two-match suspension when the Hertfordshire outfit host the npower League One side on Saturday.

On-loan Reading youngster Ben Jefford deputised for O'Loughlin during the Wood's 4-2 victory over Weston-super-Mare last weekend and he is expected to keep his place in the back four.

Wood came from 2-0 down in the last round of the competition to record a 3-2 victory over Hayes and Yeading and Allinson's men will be hoping for more of the same against Football League opposition.

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler will not tinker with his side.

Apart from Farid El Alagui, who is sidelined for the long term with a knee problem, the Bees have a full squad available for the tie.

And Rosler is determined that his side will not be on the end of a giantkilling against the Blue Square Bet South side.

He told the club's official website: "I think this year the FA Cup plays a massive role for us as we want to represent our club well but also we want to generate money and hopefully we can use that in our playing budget.

"We have two DVDs of Boreham Wood and my assistants have already seen one of them.

"We are addressing this like a league game and we want to start well and be on the front foot."
