Slovakia midfielder Vladimir Weiss is hoping to return to parent club Manchester City next season following a frustrating loan spell at Bolton Wanderers.
The 20-year-old international has made ten substitute appearances for the Trotters in the Premier League since arriving in January.
However, he doesn't believe his hopes of being included in his country's World Cup squad have been enhanced by his time at the Reebok Stadium.
"I came to Bolton hoping to play a lot. I need to be playing to be sure of getting into the squad for the World Cup," he said.
"I don't really know what will happen next season, but City want me back and I love playing for them, so I think I'll be going back."
