Trotters star Holden hails Coyle
18 Nov 2010 - 16:12:42
Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stuart Holden has praised manager Owen Coyle for placing his faith in the team.
The American believes Coyle's belief is rubbing off on the players as they sit fifth in the Premier League table.
Holden, 25, has played in every game so far this term after suffering a broken leg when on international duty last season and he is back to enjoying his football.
"The manager has given me confidence in my own ability and it's nice to be able to express that on the field," he said.
"I'm enjoying my football and that's when you find your best form. With the team we have here, and the work ethic for each other, it allows you to get on the ball and play a bit.
"I think we've got a good flow throughout the team and if we keep playing the way we are it could be a good season for Bolton Wanderers. As long as the team's winning and I'm putting in good performances life can't be much better."
