Trotters prepare Â2m bid for Boaz
olton have pinpointed Boaz Myhill as the long-term successor to Jussi Jaaskelainen and are reportedly planning a £2million bid for him. Trotters boss Owen Coyle wants tougher competition between the sticks for 35-year-old Jaaskelainen, and is hoping to exploit the Tigers' financial problems by securing a bargain deal for Myhill. The Wales international, 28, is likely to be one of several star names leaving the KC Stadium this summer following Hull's relegation to the Championship. The Daily Star Sunday reports that Coyle will put an opening offer of £2million on the table for shot-stopper Myhill, who is likely to jump at the chance of staying in the Premier League.
