olton were held to a goalless draw by Scottish Premier League side Falkirk in their opening match of their mini tour of Scotland. Striker Johan Elmander came closest to opening the scoring on Saturday when he saw his shot hit the outside of the post shortly before half-time and only an excellent performance by goalkeeper Robert Olejnik kept the Bairns in the game. For Bolton, Adam Bogdan posted his third clean sheet of pre-season while Chung-Yong Lee got through 60 minutes in his first start since reporting back from World Cup duty.
