Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce is once again being linked with a move for Diego Tristan after the Spain international lashed at his former club Deportivo La Coruna.
The 30-year-old is out of contract following his release by the La Liga side last week and has hinted that he would welcome the chance to prove his worth in the Premiership.
"I did not deserve to leave this way," said Tristan. "I do not have words, but it is not going to be me who will knock down anybody.
"I do not understand it. A year ago the new coach came to me and said there was Tristan and ten more, but now this has happened.
"The door is now closed to me in Spain. I can still move to England and I will consider playing there for 12 months before perhaps a return. Now, I only have the desire to play.
"I have several offers from England and now I am studying the option to play in the Premier League this season. Also, I have received options from other European clubs, but they are not so attractive.
"The coach of Bolton has a lot of confidence in me and I want to speak with them."
