Taylor insists Bolton are united
07 Dec 2009 - 09:49:39
Bolton Wanderers midfielder Matt Taylor has rubbished suggestions of dressing room unrest at the Reebok Stadium.
The Trotters slipped to 19th place in the Premier League table after losing 2-1 to fellow strugglers Wolves on Saturday.
But despite seeing their winless run stretch to six games in all competitions and the pressure mounting on manager Gary Megson, Taylor claims everybody in the dressing room is pulling in the same direction.
"I can't stress enough there isn't a feel of crisis at the club or in the dressing room," he claimed.
"We're disappointed but we have to kick on and win the next game. What is important is the team and making sure everyone in that dressing room sticks together - and we will do that.
"There are no bad eggs at this club. It's not for me to comment on supporters' opinions - that's their prerogative.
"We've got two very important games in the next 10 days and if we do well then people will be asking what's the problem?"
