Summer decision suits Samuel

Aston Villa defender Jlloyd Samuel says he will wait until the summer until deciding whether to stay at Villa Park or try his luck elsewhere.

The 25-year-old left-back has been heavily linked with Bolton Wanderers in recent times, having fallen down the pecking order at Villa.

However, Samuel says he is in no rush to make a decision over his future.

He told Villa's official club website: "There has been a lot of speculation linking me to Bolton recently, as well as Middlesbrough and Portsmouth.

"I don't know a great deal about it to be honest, I'm just concentrating on my football for Aston Villa.

"Personally I am dying to get another chance to show what I can do. I am always hungry to play, no matter what game it is.

"There are nine games left now and you've always got to stay positive and expect that you're going to get an opportunity to play.

"I'm not thinking that it's not going to happen. But if you aren't playing towards the end of the season you have got to look at other options, we'll have to see what happens in May."
