Sammy refuses to panic

Sammy Lee insisted he was pleased with Bolton's performance despite Wanderers slipping to their second successive defeat of the new season at Fulham on Wednesday.
The Trotters followed up their listless opening day 3-1 defeat by Newcastle with a 2-1 reverse at Fulham, but the new Wanderers boss is refusing to press the panic button.
Heidar Helguson had put Bolton ahead, but replies from David Healy and Alexei Smertin handed the Cottagers their first points of the new Premier League season.
"You have always got to be prepared to work hard in football. I knew that as a player, as a coach and now I know it as a manager. In football, you don't always get what you deserve," said Lee, who replaced Sam Allardyce in the Reebok Stadium hot-seat towards the end of last season.
"But the pleasing thing for me was the application and the work ethic of my players.
"They adapted to the conditions very well, as did both sets of players and it was disappointing we didn't get anything out of the game."
