Sam in striker talks

Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has opened talks with two targets as he steps up his efforts to strengthen his strike-force before the start of the Premiership campaign.
The Trotters are in desperate need of forward reinforcements as Kevin Davies is injured and Jared Borgetti is likely to move on before the summer transfer window closes.
Allardyce refused to name the players he is pursuing, but it is believed one of them is Barcelona's Argentina international Javier Saviola.
"I'm speaking to two front men that are very interesting as far as I'm concerned," he told the Manchester Evening News.
"Talks are at an advanced stage and negotiations are progressing nicely without feeling too confident.
"I have resisted spending money on some players I could have bought to play in midfield because that would have taken away from the money that would have been available."
