Bolton Wanderers have raided Southampton to sign well-travelled striker Grzegorz Rasiak on loan until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old Poland international has previously played in the top-flight for Tottenham Hotspur and will help fill the void created by the £15million departure of Nicolas Anelka to Chelsea earlier this month.
Rasiak has scored 25 times since joining the Championship club in a £2million deal in May 2005.
He has found the net eight times this season but has been allowed to leave St Mary's.
"Grzegorz is a big, powerful centre-forward who knows where the back of the net is," manager Gary Megson told the club's official website.
"He will bring more fire-power to the squad and allows us extra attacking options."
Rasiak has scored eight goals in 37 appearances for Poland and was a key member of their 2006 World Cup squad.
