Nolan faces watching brief
25 Mar 2008 - 07:20:34
Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan faces a couple of weeks on the sidelines due to both suspension and a back injury.
The 25-year-old was booked for the tenth time this season during the goalless draw with Manchester City, while he is still struggling with a niggling back problem.
He told The Sun: "I'm out now for two games and it'll give me a chance to rest my back ready for the last few weeks.
"But I seriously hope I'll be out of the team for the next four or five games, because that will mean they have been winning and I can't get my place back.
"I'm the worst watcher in the world and it's going to be tough, but I have full faith that the lads can get the results we need without me.
"There are still 21 points to play for. This is not where we think we should be and we're deeply hurt finding ourselves in the relegation scrap."
