New contract for Nolan
05 Mar 2007 - 10:29:51
Bolton Wanderers midfielder Kevin Nolan has penned a new four-year contract with the club.
The Trotters captain has signed a deal that will keep him at the Reebok Stadium until the end of the 2010-11 campaign.
At the weekend Nolan had told the club's official website: "It's virtually agreed and will all be done very soon. After this season, I'll be here for another four years and I'm absolutely delighted with that.
"Ever since I've been at Bolton, I've never thought that I would have to leave to get international recognition.
"Even though we are not a big city club, we have done fantastically well over the last four or five years.
"We are continuing to grow and getting better and better and I am glad that I will be a part of it."
The one-club 24-year-old has already made 237 League appearances for Sam Allardyce's side.
