Lee makes Hunt appeal

Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee has urged referee Simon Przydacz to overturn the red card shown to Nicky Hunt during the opening game of the Peace Cup campaign.
The Trotters were reduced to ten men during the 1-1 draw with Seongnam in Seoul on Thursday after the Australian official dismissed Hunt for violent play following a clash with Seongnam's Brazilian striker Itamar.
But with Hunt facing a potential suspension at the start of the new Premier League season, Lee hopes the referee will review his decision with the aid of video technology.
"I had a chat with the referee after the game as I wanted to ascertain why he'd sent Nicky from the field of play," he told the club's official website.
"He said it was a stamp, but from what we can gather there was no stamping by Nicky.
"I have asked the official to review his decision and he said that he will talk to tournament organisers about that.
"If he looks at video evidence, I hope he will change his mind as we feel there wasn't a stamp from Nicky.
"If the decision stands then we could face losing Nicky for some matches when the Premier League season starts next month."
