Sammy Lee praised his Bolton Wanderers side after they made it through to the group stage of the UEFA Cup with a 1-0 home win over Rabotnicki Kometal.
A Nicolas Anelka header sealed victory on the night at the Reebok Stadium, with the Trotters progressing 2-1 on aggregate at the expense of the Macedonians.
Lee said afterwards: "Anelka's a good player, he's a quality player and that's why we were so pleased when he committed himself to this football club.
"Every time he goes out on the football pitch, you see his total commitment, but as I've said on many occasions I don't want to talk about individuals.
"The team ethic right throughout the side was excellent and I thought we played some very good football.
"I don't particularly enjoy the position that we're in domestically, but success breeds success and we're not going to get carried away.
"Hopefully we can build on this victory because we're through to the group stage of what is a very important competition and we're looking to make it six unbeaten against Chelsea."
