Jussi and Gardner sign on

Bolton Wanderers duo Jussi Jaaskelainen and Ricardo Gardner have signed extensions to their current deals.

Goalkeeper Jaaskelainen has been at the Reebok Stadium for over a decade and could now see his career out in Lancashire after signing a new four-year contract.

Gardner, 30 this year, is three years younger than the Finland international but could also finish his playing days with Bolton after agreeing a three-year contract.

Both players were reported to have verbally agreed new deals earlier this summer but they only signed on the dotted line after beginning pre-season training on Wednesday.
