Bolton Wanderers' American midfielder Stuart Holden is hopeful of being able to return to action before the end of the season, having been sidelined for more than a month due to a broken leg.
The 25-year-old was injured while on international duty with the USA, but is hoping to be back in full training within the next fortnight.
He told the club's official website: "It's actually progressed well, so I'm looking to start running, jogging next week and then getting full blast toward the end of the week and then hopefully back in full training in two weeks.
"I have to start training and build up a bit of fitness again, but I think I've targeted in my own mind the last two games - Tottenham away and Birmingham at home.
"Those are two games I'm looking to play in and help contribute and hopefully we're safe by that point and building for next season."
