Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce is counting the cost of international week after Stelios Giannakopoulos returned to the Reebok Stadium with a groin injury.
The 32-year-old winger suffered the setback while training with the Greece squad ahead of their 1-0 win in Moldova last weekend, and now looks set to miss Bolton's Premiership games against Watford, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth.
Allardyce said: "Stelios picked up a problem in Greece which will unfortunately keep him out for the best part of three weeks.
"It is a deep-lying injury which needs rest to enable it to settle down and allow Stelios to recover.
"It is a big disappointment for us because he was our leading goalscorer in the Premiership last season and he will be missed."
