Fergie slams Sam critics

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has dismissed criticism of his Bolton Wanderers counterpart, Sam Allardyce, over the Trotters' style of play.
Several Premiership managers have voiced their dislike of Bolton's perceived physical, long-ball style of play, but Ferguson is not bothered in the slightest.
He said: "If Sam is getting criticism, it is simply because he is beating teams.
"Nobody likes to lose, so maybe you start to think the way Bolton are playing is unfair.
"It could be a mental thing, but it is a silly argument and I don't understand it.
"Everyone has their own way of playing and you could not possibly think any Bolton fan would be disappointed about how their team's fortunes have changed over the last few years.
"I think they are the views Sam would be most interested in."
