Exit rumours worry Lee

Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee has admitted that he could be facing the loss of both Nicolas Anelka and El Hadji Diouf before the transfer window shuts.

France striker Anelka has been linked with several other Premier League teams in recent weeks, while Senegal forward Diouf is a reported target for West Ham United.

Lee, who has seen his side lose their opening three league games of the new season, told Sky Sports: "It's a concern and it might be out of my hands at times, but at the moment it is only speculation.

"We want to keep our better players, but as I've said before, if people want to go then sometimes you can't stop them.

"They have both made commitments and signed contracts. I think you can see that in their play and I just want them to be happy in what they are doing and want to stay.

"To be perfectly honest I just want people who want to play for Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

"If players want to go and play for Champions League clubs then we'll talk about it."
