Bolton Wanderers' record signing Johan Elmander says he is starting to find his feet in the Premier League, having scored twice in the 4-1 weekend victory at Sunderland.
The 27-year-old Sweden international had also found the net in the 3-1 win at Middlesbrough the previous week and now has four goals in 11 appearances to his name since joining the Trotters from Toulouse.
He told the club's official website: "I've been feeling good in the last five games to be honest and I know it's difficult to score goals in the Premier League.
"I was having some problems with my hamstring, but now I'm feeling 100 per cent fit and when you are feeling fit you can obviously perform that bit better on the pitch.
"It takes time, the Premier League is the best league in the world and you can't come from the French league and think that you can score three goals in the first game. It's difficult and it takes time to adapt.
"I understand that when you arrive for a lot of money that people expect you to score goals and that is fair enough.
"I knew that if I kept on fighting then the goals would come and now they are coming."
