Dzemaili poised for Bolton exit

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Blerim Dzemaili is on the verge of making his loan switch to Torino permanent.

The Serie A club's president, Urbano Cairo, has confirmed that his club will take up their option to buy the Switzerland international who has impressed in his 22 appearances for Torino so far this season.

The 22-year-old, who made just one substitute appearance for the Trotters since arriving on a free transfer from FC Zurich, still has over 12 months of his Reebok Stadium contract to run.

"I have already prepared the letter in which I will announce to Bolton my wish to buy Dzemaili's sporting rights," Cairo told the Italian press.

"I have until the end of the month to exercise the right to buy the player. I will definitely acquire Dzemaili and I would like to do it as soon as possible.

"The letter has been written and my wish is to send it on Sunday, on the same day as Dzemaili turns 23."

Dzemaili has featured in 22 games for Torino so far this season.
