Senegal international El Hadji Diouf could be leaving
Bolton Wanderers after being left out of Sammy Lee's starting line-up for Saturday's 3-1 home defeat to
Newcastle United.
Diouf still has two years to run on his Reebok Stadium contract but has hinted he could be moving before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
"Right now, this is my club, this is my crowd," he said.
"But tomorrow is another day. Maybe after tomorrow I will go, I don't know.
"I have two more years at Bolton Wanderers and I am working hard for this club. I am trying to do everything for this club and, if I go tomorrow, I will not forget this club.
"But I just want everything to be clear in my head. I want to talk with the chairman, the manager. I want everything to be clear.
"I think the best thing for Sammy Lee and for me is to tell me I have his confidence.
"If he tells me he has confidence in me, I will do well, if he doesn't say that, I don't think I can stay here."
