Diouf exit edges closer

Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson expects El Hadji Diouf to seal his transfer to Sunderland shortly. The Senegal international still has one year left on his Reebok Stadium contract but has been tipped to leave the club for most of this year. He said his farewells to the Bolton fans at the end of last season and missed the start of the club's pre-season training camp last week. However, Megson confirmed: "There has been some recent interest in Dioufy. "He made comments (about leaving) at the end of last season but he's been back at training for the last couple of days and has been fine." Black Cats manager Roy Keane has already signed Tottenham duo Teemu Tainio and Pascal Chimbonda this week.
