Davies unsure over timing of break

Published: 24 Mar 2009 - 14:30:00

Bolton striker Kevin Davies has admitted to uncertainty about whether the international break has come at a good or bad time for the club.Following Saturday's impressive display in the 1-1 draw against West Brom, Wanderers now have a 14-day wait until they take on Middlesbrough at the Reebok Stadium. Davies told the club's official website: "It's a chance obviously to rest a little bit because it's been a hard season again and we've used pretty much the same players throughout the season.""But you would like to get to the next game as soon as possible after a good performance like that. We'd like to be playing next weekend, but we are not so there are pluses and minuses." The draw at The Hawthorns ended a run of two successive away defeats for Wanderers. "On our travels we have been poor of late so it was good to pick up a point," added Davies. "The performance right throughout the 90 minutes was pretty good and we looked like we were getting back to our old selves."
