Davies keen to end bad run

Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies is determined to bounce back against Wigan Athletic this weekend after suffering two successive defeats.
Sam Allardyce's side were humbled 4-0 at home by Manchester United last weekend following their Carling Cup defeat to Charlton Athletic in the previous game.
However, Davies knows it won't be easy against a Latics side that have beaten Manchester City and Fulham in their last two games.
"Obviously last Saturday was a big blip for us and losing in that manner was hard to take," said the former Chesterfield and Southampton striker.
"Now we've lost two games in a row and we're facing our first real test.
"This is the ideal game for us. We've watched the United video and got it out of our system. We know we've over-achieved in our first 10 games and we must maintain that for the rest of the season.
"In some ways we can accept defeats to the Manchester Uniteds and Chelseas. It's losing to teams around us and below us that's difficult to accept. So this is probably a bigger game for us.
"We lost two and drew one against Wigan last season so we desperately want to get a win this time. For the last couple of days we've started to work and prepare for Wigan and hopefully we can come out fighting.
"We've been very resolute in defence this year and have always felt that when we go a goal ahead we're very likely to go on and win the match.
"But we feel sometimes we've stayed back to help out the defence too much and that's affected us in attack. Maybe we're not going to do so much of that in future."
