Coyle to decide on Ward loan

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle is still to decide whether to allow teenage striker Danny Ward to leave the club on loan this season. The 19-year-old, who has been linked with a host of Championship and League One clubs, scored nine goals in 32 appearances for Swindon Town during a season-long loan spell at the County Ground last term. Coyle said: "I've had half the Championship on about him already this summer and that's if, and that's a big if, I decide to send him out again. "I'm going to sit down with him and have a chat in the next couple of weeks but, whatever we decide, I'm sure he's going to have a bright future at Bolton Wanderers. "I've had Danny with me all pre-season and he's done very well, there's no doubt he'll have a bright future at this football club. "I have to judge now whether he's ready to be involved on a week-to-week basis in the squad. If he's not, then we'd send him out for a few months so that he's in a better position to challenge when he comes back. "That's not inevitable. I really like him and I see something in him."
