Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has confirmed that he is continuing to hold talks with Arsenal about a possible loan move to the Reebok Stadium for Jack Wilshere.
When he was the manager of Burnley, Coyle had attempted to bring the teenager to Turf Moor on a temporary arrangement until the end of the season and remains keen to tie up a similar deal with his new club.
He said: "Jack Wilshere is a name that has been mentioned among others. He's a talented, young player, somebody I think has got the makings of being a top player.
"There's been dialogue but nothing concrete as yet. But he's someone we're interested in bringing to the football club.
"So are a host of other clubs because of the quality he has. We will see what today brings. Nothing is set in stone, but we will look to try and take it on."
The 19-year-old has made 15 first-team appearances for the Gunners and started the FA Cup third round clash at West Ham United earlier this month.
