    Coyle praises fit again Taylor

    22 Apr 2010 - 14:03:11

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has hailed Matt Taylor after he finally recovered from a bout of glandular fever to star in the Trotters' 2-1 Premier League win at Stoke City last weekend.

The versatile left-sided player complained of feeling unwell following the 3-0 defeat at Blackburn in February and the illness was diagnosed soon after.

However, he has finally managed to beat off the bug and played a starring role at Britannia Stadium by scoring both goals in the fine success and he has received the plaudits from Coyle recently.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "Matt felt ill and we had him tested after the match (against Blackburn). It showed he had glandular fever at some point although they can't pinpoint exactly when.

"We all recognise the qualities of Matt Taylor. He showed that last week and I am delighted for him.

"He works ever so hard every day in training. I always feel when players work as hard as that they get their rewards."
