Coyle looks to the positives
01 Feb 2010 - 07:44:07
Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle saw plenty of reasons to be positive despite the Trotters falling to a 2-0 defeat at Liverpool at the weekend.
Wanderers have won twice and lost three times since the change of manager at the Reebok Stadium and Coyle was pleased with the most recent performance.
He told the club's official website: "We were better than the 2-0 scoreline suggested and would have scored on another day.
"The lads acquitted themselves well and showed their quality and their desire to do well. We have to pick ourselves up, take the positives and look forward to our next game.
"If we keep giving that application and showing that quality, then it will result in us getting points.
"I've been delighted with how they have gone about their business on the training ground, because it takes hard work on the training ground for it to be replicated in matches."
